Actor
As a teenager Darren was a member of the Leicestershire Youth Theatre and caught the acting
bug when he performed at the Edinburgh Festival in
a production of 'The Threepenny Opera'. After several more youth theatre productions and encouragement from his drama teacher he decided to pursue a career in acting.
In 1991 Darren was offered a place at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, graduating in the summer of 1994. The same year he made his professional acting debut in an episode of the BBC courtroom drama 'Crown Prosecutor'. Numerous screen credits were to follow in shows such as 'The Bill, 'Casualty', 'Doctors', 'Heartbeat', 'Code of A Killer', 'Goodnight Sweetheart', 'Hollyoaks', 'Dream Team',
'The Tudors', 'Coronation Street' & 'Eastenders'. He has featured in films, performed on stage, both regionally and on tour, appeared in commercials in the UK and abroad and voiced a number of projects.
